Stop saving files to your desktop. FigSnap captures your browser tab, uploads it instantly, and places it directly onto your active Figma or FigJam board—all in one click.
Click the extension icon to capture the visible tab. The screenshot is sent to your board automatically—no downloads required.
Screenshots are intelligently resized (1024–1280px wide) to fit perfectly on your board without cluttering your canvas.
The Figma plugin listens for new screenshots and places them on your board instantly. No manual importing.
Navigate to any webpage and click the FigSnap extension icon in your Chrome toolbar.
FigSnap captures the visible tab, uploads it to ImgBB, and sends it to your Figma file via the Figma API.
The Figma plugin detects the new screenshot and places it on your active board automatically.
FigSnap needs three values to work. Enter them in the Chrome Extension Options page, and you may need to provide them in the Figma plugin on first run:
Generate a PAT in Figma settings with file_comments:read
and file_comments:write scopes. This lets FigSnap read and post to your board.
Paste the full Figma URL (e.g., figma.com/board/abc123...
or figma.com/design/abc123...). FigSnap extracts the key automatically.
Get a free key at api.imgbb.com. FigSnap uses this to host screenshots temporarily.
Install FigSnap from the Figma Community to start receiving screenshots:
